This Brian May poster is a black and white shot of Queen's guitarist on stage in 1977, lit by a wall of spotlights with a drum kit glowing through the haze behind him.

The photograph was taken at the Messegelande in Frankfurt am Main by Klaus Hiltscher, a rock photographer and a fan himself, who caught Queen in the late seventies when they were among the biggest rock bands around.

Brian wrote We Will Rock You and is famous for the Red Special, the electric guitar he built at home with his father, whose sound runs right through Queen's records. He also holds a PhD in astrophysics, so this might be the coolest scientist you will ever hang on your wall.

Choose a poster or a framed print. The grainy monochrome and soft cream border give it a proper retro feel that suits a living room, music room, studio or hallway. A cool gift for Queen fans, guitarists and anyone raised on seventies rock.
