Lou Reed poster from 1975: a black and white live shot of the man himself hunched over a Fender, curls falling forward, lost in the music on stage at the Rosengarten in Mannheim. It was taken by Klaus Hiltscher, a gifted photographer and a fan, and you can feel that closeness in the frame.

Lou Reed co-founded The Velvet Underground before going solo with songs like Walk on the Wild Side. His mix of street-level storytelling and raw, noisy guitar left its mark on punk, art rock and alternative music for decades after. Here he is in the middle of the seventies, sleeveless, unbothered and fully in the zone.

Choose it as a poster or a framed print, with a soft cream border and his name and the year set beneath the image. It looks great in a living room, a record corner, a home studio or a hallway gallery wall. It also makes a cool gift for anyone who grew up on Transformer, or who found the Velvets later and never looked back.

His archive offers a rare glimpse into the artists, venues and culture that shaped a generation.
