This Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers poster takes you straight to the stage in Frankfurt on 2 June 1977, when the band were young and making their name on the road. It was shot in black and white by photographer and fan Klaus Hiltscher. The whole band is mid-set under a rig of stage lights, with bassist Ron Blair among them, and the year and band name are set in clean type below.

By 1977 the Heartbreakers were out on the road behind their debut album, the record that gave us American Girl and Breakdown. Those ringing guitars and Petty's easy, sneering vocals went on to become a cornerstone of American rock. This is the band right at the start of that story, before the stadiums.

Available as a poster or a framed print, it suits a living room, a record corner or a home studio. It makes a cool gift for a lifelong Petty fan or anyone who loves classic rock and retro prints with a bit of grit to them.

His archive offers a rare glimpse into the artists, venues and culture that shaped a generation.
